I had one of the original Rascals and it was one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. The Nitro engine was bomb proof as was the chassis. There was always a slight issue with the exhaust leaking gunk all over the car but I guess this won't be an issue for you!

I drove the car on all sorts of terrain, jumping it pretty high and it always just came back for more.

I would love to see an electric conversion.

Hi Alex,

Saw this and thought it might be of interest to you. I'm pretty sure the second chassis in the list is a Rascal and thought this might form a good base/stock of bits for the project.

Hi there,

I recently did a rascal conversion, I have had a rascal for years and even though I race a dex 410 and an MBX 6, I can honestly say I have had more fun out of the rascals! It was a sad day when they discontinued them!

I can't seem to attach the images, iPad issues!

Hope it goes well!

Ben
