Hello all.
is there a Yokomo oil Chart/compared to others like Core RC, Losi, AE and so on?
Best Regards.
Aren't the Yokomo oils the same or at least comparable with other manufacturers' oils labeled in cst (e.g. LRP, MR33, Much More, xray)?
An oil chart can be found on petitrc (http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/OilChart.pdf)

The best oils are AE And Losi the Kyosho oil is good but not cheap for a small bottle. Core oils are crap like water I have not tried yokomo so cant say hope this helps:)

TBH I'd avoid using oil from anyone who makes up their measurement scale.

Yokomo oil is spot on, and rated in CST (centistoke) but unsure if it's measured at 40degC or 100degC?
my only complaint is that the bottles are small.

I have been using AE oil since starting buggies but have been considering moving over to CST oil.
It's just getting your head round a different unit of measurement, will need a wee comparison chart beside me at meetings for the first while!

AE do put standard CST measurement rating on new bottles, and some now do align with the fixed unit ratings, 350, 400, 450, etc, but others are way off. Petit oil chart seems out of date now for AE oils.

I've used Core oils for a while alongside Kyosho and I have to say so far the Core stuff is excellent!
Between the two brands who both use (true) CST numbers all options are covered.

My issue with core oils was the leaky lids. ended up giving them away. Yokomo oils spot on again in true CST ratings. I've just picked up some ultimate racing oil 550CST and it seems same viscosity as the Yokomo 550.
