Hi all

Could anyone tell me please what parts are required to convert my scte version 1 into a losi 8 ?

I've already got the 1/8th shocks on my truck so everything aside from those !

Cheers

You will need a whole Losi 8ight minus the shocks...

The SCTE is based on TEN-T model, looks similar in design to 8ight but everything is smaller pretty much and other than a few screws i don't think any parts carry over.

You could fit a 17mm wheel hex conversion on SCTE, find a body and wing mounts and you'll have a big 4WD buggy but it'll be slightly out of scale next to a proper 1/8th model

Hi graham. I think an 8th electric based off the scte would be great. The sizes are very similar when you sit them side by side. You would need to do something with the front bumper, wheels and hexes, shell and wing.

Its something that the yanks have started doing to suit the smaller indoor tracks and i think it will be great for the open class at coastal and for thrasing around our local tracks
