Guys

Any one got one yet. My local model shop has just got one in for me should be picking it up tomorrow, cant wait. The other truggy they do (terrier) is identical alomost to the hyper 7 pbs, which in the day was very good. One guy in my local club has one. He's reported back that there no slower than the top models. Not sure if it depends heavily on the thumbs or that its just a good car. I will post some pics up of the build soon as i start building.

Its been so long since i had a kit build. Normally have to buy the car strip it and rebuild. Totally pointless to racers having a ready built car/buggy, its great that they are giving the option.

Car should rob me about £135. A terrier is about 100 quid. Fantastic value these cars are. I'll post as an when i get started. :)

If any one has built one and has any tips that will be greatly recived.

Youve purchased a damn good truggy. Our sponsored driver runs one as a second class and produces very good results with it.

Only thing you need to do when building is check crownwheel/pinion meshing very carefully. I usually put 1 shim behind the pinion bearing to push the pinion gear in a little further as well as shim the diff left-right.

Let us know how you get on

To answear some of your questions guys,

Ansmann will shortly be taking initial stock of the vapor pro buggy. This will make its racing debue at the Apex GP in August. Its based on the rtr version but is made from higher quality materials and has some carbon "bling too"

You are correct dave, the vapor and kryptonite are the same car, but the truggy has wider arms, shaft e.t.c.

There is also many upgrades availble including alloy suspenion arm holders, alloy outdrives, cnc machined hub carriers e.t.c. Check out with your local model for a complete list along with prices.

I am currently working on an on-line price list in english for you all to view, but its a few weeks away yet.

To be honest Dave, our current team/test driver has been running the std vapor kit with our siim/sirio cl7b engine.

He run it at the first nitro X meeting this year and came 2nd in the A behind a kyosho driver. the car performed very well.

Ive even got a testing video of him down at our local track along with some pics:
