We've been told we can get on site at 7 so the aim is to treat it like a Regional. Get in, Get setup and Get racing. The more help we get, the quicker we can be racing. Obviously we would aim to be up and running by the time the show opens at 10.

2wd, 4wd and Trucks welcome. No Nitro cars to be run. No Planes or Helicopters to be flown! No cars to be run outside the track perimeter.

It was a good day out last year for the whole family so hopefully this year will be even better :)

One last thing, I've bought a brand new battery for the microphone especially for MC Stevie B ;)

It will be a relatively small grass track with some of the jumps from the regionals. 100% of the race fees will go to the Help for Heroes Charity and if memory serves, last year we left it up to each driver as to how much they donated to race. I expect it will be the same this year but £5 per head would probably not be an unreasonable figure :)

Let's not beat around the bush. This was an epic day last year. We hope to have a few hair raising jumps again this year.

Hopefully I'll have a few less close shaves with MC Brookie's toes.....

Wonder if we'll have any Brazilians watching?

And the track won't be so much tight and twisty, think more short and curly :woot:

Hope you all had a good time today. I did . Green wheels are freakin' awesome... ;). Since we were saving the planet today by not printing all the results I've put them all up on the club's website. You'll find them under the Results link at the top of the page.

A massive thank you to Steve and DC for keeping the crowds entertained on the PA. It makes such a difference. If half the spectators turn up on Wednesday that said they would, we could be in for another record Winter :drool:/:cry:

Well said Jon,

What a great time we all had today promoting our great sport. I done a head count of the public watching and in one single race alone there was well in excess of 100 people. I myslef must have had around a dozen people young and old enquire about racing and I know alot more of you had people asking the same question, so if all these people show up on wednesday night we could be rushed off our feet.

I must say a big thanks to you guys that travelled a fair way to join in with our demonstration today to promote our great sport because now as you have seen with your own eyes, it works!

Getting youth into racing for me is so so important for the survival of our sport lets take young Ben, last year he was watching from the other side of the fence and now he's racing with us and winning one of his finals, he's come such a long way in a short space of time which is yet again proof that demenstrations work, and i know for a fact he would be joining us in the South-East for the end of season finals if only the BRCA would not pick a weekend when the children are back at school .

Just to let you know and to say another big thanks for your generosity regards your donations today all of which were given to the help for heroes charity, in all we raised £160:00 woop woop:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Just to finish i must say a personal thanks to Steve B and DC, you r work on the mic is ledgendry and makes all the difference!:)

Kind regards Alan

Great day out, and with out a doubt there wouldn't have been so many people watching without our resident MC's, so a huge thanks to you 2 for that. Hope you can have a quiet day with the honey and lemon today :D

Thanks to all those that helped run the show - sorry I couldn't do more but most people know why - the antibiotics are gradually improving my condition

Best race of the day was I think in round 3 between Kyle and Ashton - you guys put on an awesome race and it was great to hear the crowd "ooohing" and "aaaahing" when mistakes were made and places swapped. Big round of applause to at the end but it was exactly what the crowd needs to see. Kudos to you 2 as well.

Well done to Ben as well - winning a leg of the final and coming 2nd in another to secure the overall win. A steady and consistent drive - plenty more of those to come I feel (time to start looking for another car Ben if you keep that up!)

And finally - thanks to Kyle for covering my marshalling all day - I owe you that burger!

Now - time to order some transmission spares for the SC10
