Granted, they have an F1 programme and all the TV ads to pay for, but why 99p a can when Tesco and Sainsburys are 24p/26p? Or, to tip that question on its head, what muck are the others putting in theirs! This is an odd topic, perhaps I've drunk too much of the stuff 'cos I didn't go to bed till 3am -which is way to late for me. Been rebuilding the Durga for Sunday.

Yeah but it isn't that nice when you buy some from Tesco and realise that you have to be at school in 3 mins, when it takes about a minute to get to school, you either have a choice, down the whole can or have it shot in the bin when you get to school. I can certainly say that you definatley feel very strange afterwards for the next hour or so.

I dont know why cos it doesnt have any more caffeine in it than a cup of tea or any more energy...it's crap
Yup and its not an instant boost either, it can be seen in the blood 5 mins after taken orally but drinks take longer from dirnks such as tea and coffee and longer again from soft drinks, usually peak plasma is upto 2 hours later, upto 3.5% of caffeine doesnt even get absorbed and comes out chemically unchanged.

I dunno why you lot need to take Red Bull and shit like that... try going to bed at the right time and eating regular, and you will feel more awake.... burn the candle at both ends and your bound to feel tired....

You are right on that score - its just sometimes these days this is not possible. I wish I was still a kid - that way when your mum & dad do everything for you, you can go to bed early and eat properly.
hey dude, I got five kids and on me tod with them.... I get tired, so I go to bed lol....
There is a very simple reason why Red Bull is the price it is - because people pay it!
I have a massive amount of respect for Red Bull and the several racing teams they run (amongst all the other things) but I agree with DCM here if you need stimulants to get you through the day, you're doing something wrong
redbull is nice but i rarly drink it, unless with vodka!
although the same stuff is like 90p cheaper, and it comes in the form of Best-buy energy drink. its like 20p and its bloody gorgeous

redbull is expensive because they hand out quarter of a million a time to put even just their colours (not even brand name) on something.

haha, all joking aside, it's worth an ask! :D I've had red bull people round my place of work before, looking to get their brand shown (and yeah, with no name attached)
how to do you mean jimmy, explain further please, examples?

i agree with DCM, balanced and healthy diet and you feel better ( im studying a BTEC in sport and nutrition is a subject)...
however i just drink redbull cos i like the taste

Alex, when its a brand like red bull, people see the colours and sub-conciously put it with red bull, its a very subtle way of advertising without seeing red bull everywhere. Its like if you see a white background with a red triangle you think marlboro without it saying it. its just clever marketing and of course its cheaper:D

First time I had Relentless I drank an entire can in less than 5 minutes... and then fell asleep in the next lesson. Didn't work so well...!

Didnt Rich Cree work for redbull motorsport a while ago? maybe he has some insight ..
They have/had a secton on their website regarding sponsorship for teams/events, i mailed them a few years ago about Blyth/Worksop R/C events, still waiting for a reply :D . A slab of 24 to keep race control awake would have done  ..

Relentless never seems to work for me either, despite having the same caffeine content as red bull but being 2-3 times as big, it's pretty weird.
