I'm trying to see how cheaply I can return to the sport and be competitive. Also maintains domestic harmony! So far I have a secondhand Caster SK10 with tons of spares, wheels, tyres arms etc for £100. Charger from China for £16.00, Hobbywing Speedo for £50.00, Code 3ch Radio for £55.00 and the Motor for £45.00. LiPo's still to be found and a servo.

Thanks for the servo offer! I'll give you a shout if I need it. What model is it and would you sell it? My budget was £300 for the whole lot, but it looks like I'm going to be nearer £350. Interesting excercise though! Would have been easier with a £1500 budget - but much harder to justify. I might not stick with it. (But I probably will...)
