hi Steve thanks for taking time to explain, and i must admit that since you mentioned
the yokomo i have been surfing and reading up about them
and also to see that Neil Cragg has done so well with one it could be the way to go.
many thanks cgee.
Chris,
Difficult for me to compare personally as I've not had or driven a B44! Would add that many drivers of the B44 when it cam out (incl. Matt Benfield) have now sold their cars in preference to other chassis'!
Both have now got form, winning Nationals in this country, this year. The B44 is the current World Champ but that was on dirt, where the B44 excells.
Both cars are similar format, saddle pack chassis, shaft drive, centre slipper. Both chassis are based on the format that was developed by the JConcepts BJ4WE.
Parts are available as CML distrubute Yokomo products (so I can get them!) alternatively there are cheaper on-line sites that you can source parts quickly and more cheaply form the Far East (RCChamp is one of them!).
Will bring it all with me tomorrow for you to have a look.
Steve
