Hi Si,

Yeah the only way I could really see it working would be as chassis set with chassis plate,
Top decks, battery strap and belts.

Forgot to say last night. Yes I agree that side guards would be a great addition, especially if you intend on running on sand filled astro as I do this summer.

But one thing at a time I am going to speak to a friend who recently got a 3d printer and see if something is possible on the cheap. I have used shapeways before but I think the price with shipping would be too high if added onto the rest of the conversion cost?

It is looking good as I said and I would be interested in a kit, there must be a way of getting some kind of protection at a low cost but still fit under the body like the mini 8 and emb side guards, I have been looking at some angle strips but obviously this would be a home made and look it too just for a temporary solution, the 3d printer sounds like the way forward but as you say cost becomes too high to justify it and adding to the kit would no doubt put off potential buyers unless it is an addition to the kit, I am sure you will think of something :thumbsup:
I am glad your posting as you go it is interesting to watch development.
