There's a very, very good chance I'll be doing 4wd Ben, got the ok for time off from work, just need the ok from her who controls the wallet now.

Left the entry form on her desk as a subtle little hint:thumbsup:

I'll forge some nice DHL headed paper demanding your attendance at the inaugural annual logistics conference to be held in Coventry. Signed by John Pearce!

In for a penny John, in for a pound. I think you need to show Mrs M that your investments get used and you get your monies worth.....loosely translated into
"MYALLY DO 2WD AS WELL, YOU KNOW IT MAKES SENSE":p

Nope, the 2wd is on astro, I hate the stuff;) It's the reason I'm not going to do the old bugger's class a couple of weeks earlier at Silverstone.

SimonW 01-07-2011 02:49 PM

Whats up John? Thumbs not fast enough for you? You could come to Eastrax with us on the 24th there is a Mid East regional so you can compare your speed to them lot and get some well needed astro running in the open class.

JohnM 01-07-2011 03:45 PM

No they're not fast enough anymore, getting slower the older I get too:blush:

Really don't want to go to Eastrax, don't want to break the car:lol:

racingdwarf 01-07-2011 05:31 PM

have to admit I'm not so keen on the funny grass...It's just not right:lol:

Thomas wants to go tho,i may do to.... best get some more spairs in

SimonW 01-07-2011 07:49 PM

It's not a car killer like it used to be, the triples at the back are now a jump onto a table and that dodgy corner with a berm in the middle of it has been flattened, the track is a stunner now with a different layout than before. Check out me-or for pics

racingdwarf 01-07-2011 07:57 PM

Yer, I had a look at it last month when I was at the 8th national on the dirt track.

best bit is the concreat has gone:thumbsup:

Dufty07 01-07-2011 08:19 PM

That's the real reason I'm only doing 4wd, still having the nightmares from when you beat me in 2wd at Colchester:lol:

racingdwarf 19-07-2011 02:21 PM

yer must get this sorted:blush:

Should be me and thamas for 2wd:thumbsup:
not sure on 4wd-don't even own one at the min...unless an optima counts:eh?:

No. 46 19-07-2011 04:09 PM

Dave, why don't you run 2wd in 4wd, shouldn't be that far off the pace especially as its on grass

Benh 19-07-2011 07:39 PM

Thomas is welcome to run my LRP. Got good gear in it. Robitronic 4600 cells, Novak GTB, 6.5 motor. Losi shocks on there so you can make quick and easy adjustments. On top of that, it can be used with 40Mhz or 2.4 Spektrum.

Seeing how well he drives - I'll be more than happy for him to run it. (oh yeah, it's got geared diffs - making life in the pits a lot easier!)

It's a bloody good car and pretty tough too! And cheap; so non of that, "oh but what if i break something". I really wouldn't care and we'll just rob Georges one for spares. ;) (George doesn't know this yet)

Besides, if Thomas finishes high with it, I can use that as a USP when i come to sell it the following week!

racingdwarf 19-07-2011 07:55 PM

Ben...your talking to a man who ran a madmonkey in an Afinal:lol:. Not going to say it's not good enough, if we keep the speed tame he will prob be quite good with it, only thing is he would want a durango all the way home

Chesty 01-08-2011 11:25 AM
