Not so true i think Ballisitic are the better tyre i ran them in 2wd at Kiddy national nad i also ran a set of achumachers round one and Ballistics had alot more grip. Andit seem neil agree's.

For 4WD I'm pretty confident the majority of the Regional A-final will be on Sch. Yellow's if the weather stays dry.

Looking beyond the Regional, I think the GRP tyre will be well worth a try at the Winter Series :D

DaveG28 20-09-2007 11:39 AM

Hi guys,

Will the winter series be open on tyres then?

Also, do we have ay dates yet etc?

_sleigh_ 20-09-2007 11:43 AM

Yes, as far as I know the Winter Series will be "open tyre"

As for dates, I'm waiting for full confirmation on the dates I've seen, as I have an "issue" with one of them.

If you get really desperate, I'll bring my Optima along if someone will lend me some cells. :D

I'm half joking of course. I'd love to race, but a) I wouldn't be at all competitive and b) I don't have time to re-build it to get it running properly. Last time I looked at it, three of the 4 shocks were empty amongst other things...

Time for the awkward question....

As we have another changeable week weather wise, is there any chance of a track udate later this week to see what it is like, and then letting us know if it is getting chucked on with rain from then??

Worked really well last time, I had plenty of notice of how things were looking etc, it was nice being able to log on here and see the state of play!

If the wet weather continues over the next few days, then I will do a track update on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Looking at the MetCheck forecast last night the weekend looks dry, just a little cold.

ashleyb4 24-09-2007 01:04 PM

I hope it dry i like grip. I know there aint much round kiddy but what there is i like.
