I did the same. Tamiya 501X wishbones. Whether it's driver error or someone else driving into you, they are pretty indestructable. One set lasted me an entire season on my S4.

Due to an overorder, I have a spare pair if you want? £5.50 delivered 1st Class. ?

cheers guys but i want BJ4 WISHBONES NOT TAMIYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mike Hudson 24-04-2009 08:12 AM

if your totally stuck which is probably the case as there are so little bj4 bits in the uk now you can mod the bulkhead (shaving it down)instead of the wishbones for b44 wishbones then you can run them permanently without having to mod every wishbone you put on so then it's b44 wishbones forever and no more problems getting hold of front wishbones!
Rich Lowe (Team driver) has done this I believe.

Can you read

The guy knows that b44/tamiya wishbones can be made to fit, but I think hes trying to say he wants some bj4 wishbones.

Mike Hudson 24-04-2009 08:22 AM

Yes I can read perfectly thanks!
But by looks of things there arn't many bj4 ones kicking about so I'm just throwing in another idea!!!
Your post in this thread is by far the most useless!
I know someone who 'Might' have some he's willing to sell that I could talk to on saturday at my local club for you if you've still no luck.

Then you would have read the first reply, which says the same as what you said, making your post pretty useless

And then read the second reply, which clearly states he wants bj4 ones, not tamiya or b44, doubling the useless-ness of your post

Anyway, back on topic.

I think b44 or tamiya wishbone's can be made to fit if you can't get any bj4 ones

Failing that, contact SMD, as they are the JConcepts importer.

Lee 24-04-2009 08:37 AM

This thread is ace.

For those interested, i think Aero ones fit :woot:

Nope sorry Mike! I've skimmed a bit off the rear gearbox so standard AE arms go straight on, the front is all standard.

Any shop with an SMD account should be able to order some from Jamie, or you can email JConcepts direct at sales@jconcepts.net and one of the guys will get you sorted :)

RcRob should post more

Mike Hudson 24-04-2009 10:08 AM

was pretty sure you told me that  maybe not then, good idea though no? :woot: I like RcRob, he is ace, he is like my personal carer

GRIFF55 24-04-2009 12:11 PM

The Tamiya ones fit Chris and are really strong:lol::p, all else fails, you could always sell me the car back;)
