P.S. Phil i sent my entry Last night.

neiloliver 24-04-2007 06:03 PM

We will be using the permanent Astro/Grass/Concrete/Tarmac track rather than the grass bank used for the National. The large jump from the National will not be in use. I think we have catering coming but dont rely on it. I will find out from Jeff on Thursday and let you all know.

If anyone has questions that would not normally be answered by Phil S please feel free to PM me.

Neil Oliver
ORCC Secretary

Also if anyone would like a practise we have a our weekly club night on thursday. We generally arrive between 6.30 and 7.15. It will be in the same location but proberly will be a diffrent layout than the regional. But still good practise. its 4 pound for non members and 3 pound for members. Good atmosphere, Lights so well lit track and there are refreshments available.

See you all sunday.

Jamesy 27-04-2007 09:22 AM

Does anybody know if we can use PT's at Oswestry?

_sleigh_ 27-04-2007 10:15 AM

Not sure to be honest.... I'll be sending the full heat list over to the Oswestry club tonight, so I'll ask the question.

In the meantime perhaps either Nick Oliver or Neil Oliver (not related ;)) can answer that, as their both club members.

What does "Jamesy" translate to, is it James Ambrose??? Just good to know who's who:)

Jamesy 27-04-2007 10:58 AM

Hi Phil,

Yes it is James Ambrose.

I've returned to off road after 10 years of boring cars.... so far finding it tough! It's all good fun though, and the meetings are all well attended.

I started racing off road at Donisthorpe until they had a canal built through the track....

We cant use PT's as our system doesnt pick them up.

The track was built last night. Im not sure who by i think it was a mixture of phil channon mat dodd mark stanley and tony parr but im not sure we just turned up and it was built and they had been there a while by the looks of it.

neiloliver 27-04-2007 02:58 PM

If you want to know about camping please phone our Chairman, Jeff Stanton on 0780 8390180. He is the only one who can answer this question. If not, you could always contact the local toursist board and they will be able to give details of a local campsite.

Neil

ashleyb4 27-04-2007 03:19 PM
