Superglue from where?
Where can you buy decent superglue from in the high street? Need some to tide me over until next week when I can order some.
It's for doing tyres if that helps and I'm looking for some thin to medium thickness stuff. Cheers... |
I just used loctite from homebase. It takes a bit longer to dry, but if you clean the tyre first with some motor spray, or brake cleaner (as I would anyway) it works fine.

PM belsten mate, i'm sure he would post you out some of the nuclear glue. Amazing stuff.

+1 on the Nuclear glue .... schumacher tires straight from the pack to the wheel, not a hint of coming off. Even sticks proline tires first time every time, now that is impressive!!!
|
+1 for Nuclear man goo.

usual diy shops as that was what was asked

You can get Nuclear glue (best value glue on the market) from www.rudebits.co.uk

Cheers for the replies all. Point of note - after finding some typical superglue from halfords a word of advise would be don't even bother. You really need some proper stuff for use with model car applications. I found that with not even a remote amount of effort I could pull the glued tyre from the rim. I had given it the best part of a day to dry and also prepped the wheels and tyres first. Luckily there was a shop on hand today with a single bottle left...

OJ, if you'd have shouted you could have used some of my nuclear stuff.
I'used to swear by the proline glue but compared to the nuclear it's about as much use as tap water! |
