DF-03 Build Tips.

SHOCKS:

Front

If using kit driveshafts - Build as per instructions.

If using CVD's - Use the longer shock bottoms and move the shock out to the third hole in the wishbone.

Rear

Use the short shock bottoms
Use the same pistons as in the front or the middle piston, do not use the kit recomended one, it feels aweful.

Chassis Prep

Motor Area-

You will find it is a little tight in there so you will need to get the dremmel out with the sanding drum on it. If you look where the motor goes there are two places it needs to be adjusted. On the top brace from the gearboc to the chassis, below where the prop saft is, the moulding protrudes a little into where the motor, and more importantly where your motor wire would be, dremmel this area just a little to give a tad more room.

At the front of the motor section, where the webbing comes from the back of the battery box down to the chassis deck, all four need re-profiling to match the shape of the motor, this gives a lot more freedom of movement.

Front section -

There is a small screw hole on the front nose peice, in the middle just behind the steering drag link (nose plate B1, drag link C1). The moulding that holds the screw acts as a little steering block, just remove about 2-3mm from the top, this will allow you to get full lock either side.
