Using CA tyre glue on foams?

Is using ca tyre glue a definite no on foams? Mine need to be re glued on the edges which is difficult using Evo Impact, but Im worried ca would just soak into the foam and make it hard.

I regularly use cyano on foams, in fact it's a standard tuning aid on pan cars, coating the tyre sidewall to reduce grip and the tyre digging in. Running a thin bead around the join between tyre and rim stops the tyre peeling away, and should be checked regularly. Foam tyres are a closed cell foam, the glue can't soak into them.

You need a flexible cyano, I use this one from Starloc. It's also the best choice for gluing rubber tyres as well. I usually have it in my pit box so you can use it on Thursday.

That's spot on. Thanks Terry. At £2.99 a pop, it's well worth having in my pit box.

Just for anyone else who reads this thread, I bought the glue Terry recommended and it's superb. Tested it on material other than RC tyres and it's extremely strong. I won't be buying any other brand from now on. Tip top advice yet again Tez. Thank you.

Woody... get your hand in your pocket and buy this spare bottle off me you tight git.
