I used gear diffs in the front and rear of my DB-01 last year; inside and out (and the bit of the year before when they were released). This was with a HPI Flux 7.5 (mid timing on motor and a bit of extra timing and boost on a Hobbywing 120A speedo) and had no problems at all with them.

I just changed the oils a couple of times as I had a small amount of seepage (probably due to me overfilling them) but had no problems with the internal gears wearing and slipping.

I did find that as there was no give in them at all compared to a ball diff I had to run the slipper tighter then I would have normally done with a ball diff so you may need to bear that in mind.

I plan on buying a DB01 R just because you can run stick lipos in it.
I have a 501x Worlds car, is it possible to take all the parts from it
and transfering it to a new DB01 R car? Basically saying combining two cars together to make a really good car.

I put the new metal gears on my DB01 Gear Diff and the buggy becomes inmortal!! 30000W silicone in front and 3000 in rear

Also I put the new double slipper set and the buggy behaves excellent. :p
