Added m2 retaining hole and milled step to rear to clear higher rear gearbox step up.

Part is backwards compatible with the original Losi 22.

Price will be held at £20.00

Thanks to paulj for his assistance on the v2.0

Again made from brass and weighing in at 42g, which is 39g more than the rear hinge pin brace it replaces :) Sits perfectly just in front of the rear wheels which greatly removes the pendulum effect that rear end weight kits cause.

The price is £20 plus postage.

Recorded postage is..

U.K. ...£2.50

E.U.... £8.90

None E.U. ...£9.40

I used 1 of these yesterday at Southport, a track which is multi surfaced mainly astroturf. The quality of finish is excellent!!

When the track got very dusty the back end wants to kick out under acceleration when using the TLR rear weight kit, and also within the corner the rear end wants to come round and kick out. With the CREAM weight fitted and the TLR weight removed from the back the car is total changed, the mid corner speed is greater due to no fear of the rear end kicking out and also coming out the corner the car stays straight. All in all the new weight from CREAM increases forward and side bite.

The rear TLR weight will still also be needed on high bite tracks/conditions, just to calm the car down.

Cheers
Chris

Got mine today - looks good.

Are people putting the anti squat shim under the weight, or shimming with washers above it ?

I'm running the degree shim, so it look a bit odd under the cream weight !

steveproracing 09-07-2011 01:57 PM

You will have to put antisquat shims underneath the weight as it now contains the wishbone mounts. If you just use spacers above all you will alter is the gearbox height and the wishbones will stay at zero degrees squat

You must use the shims under the weight to alter the front end of the wishbone height creating antisquat

We ran ours this weekend at the Oswestry national, along with our JM08 shortened chassis. The car was transformed, brilliant quality and service. Thanks:thumbsup:
