2wd wheels on a 4wd car

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using 2wd wheels on a 4wd car ?

Do you mean tyres? If you put Schumacher 2wd ( wheels as your question) on front, of 4wd and visa versa you screw the off set

Takes away grip from the front making it easier on high grip like Astro!

The main difference in feel between running 2wd slim minispikes on the front and 4wd minispikes with rows cut off is down to the side wall stiffness.

The 2wd tire has a stiffer side wall and thus feels more immediate on turn in but equally holds its form better under load through and out of the corner. This can make the car feel a lot more consistent throughout the whole corner on super high grip surfaces.
