My Hydro Dipped Vega chassis

I have a new venture under way and quickly did this as a demo piece, I think it looks pretty cool :D
It has 2k laquer on it so will be relatively hard wearing, but obviously it will scratch up. In the fitted pics it has a clear protector fitted to it so should save it a little more. |
Yep... Liking that!

Looks great chap who does it ???

Nice work , very eye catching ...the more you luck the more you see...
|
I like it, could you do an avid alloy chassis like this? Its already factory anodized.
|
Yep, ask jamie about it danny his mate has a tank at his garage charlie bez had a shell done also...
|
I like it ! looks diffrent. any problems with screw holes ?
|
Cheers for the comments guys. It wont always be to everyones taste but was done mainly to show what can be done and catch peoples attention. I have a lot of different effects I can do too.
Anodized chassis should be ok, the Vega one is clear anodized. I just prepped and etch primed it first. Screw hole countersinks were just cleaned out after so the screws will tighten down correctly still :) |
Can smaller parts be done? As in turnbuckles, or bulkheads etc.

I have a 2m x 1m x 1m dipping area so can do some large parts such as real car wheels. Here's the radio tray from my nitro that I've just quickly done in carbon: |
How much to do a pair a fireblade wheels bud three spokes ?

Nice job  what would the cost be roughly to a Vega chassis and can the gearbox be done?

gearbox can be done if you send me the bare 2 halves. I'd estimate around £45 to do the chassis and gearbox. I'll attach a couple of pics of other items recently done. The RB6 has a carbon dipped front bulkhead and motor guard. The others are car interior/exterior parts and a 4" turbo intake pipe :) |
