A12 from Colchester (South Bound)Head out of Colchester on the A12 towards London. Continue passed the turn-off for Marks Tey. Exit the A12 at the turn-off sign posted for Easthorpe. Drive down the Country lane for approx. half a mile. Look out for a yellow salt container on the left & a gate which is the Entrance to the Marks Tey Race Course and the Colchester Model Car Club. Enter through the gate and follow the track down to the end, where the race track is situated.

A12 from London (North Bound)
It is only possible to access the A12 Easthorpe turn-off when travelling South Bound on the A12. Racers travelling North Bound (from London/Chelmsford direction) need to take J25 the A120 exit and re-join the A12 South Bound.

Gates Open 7am
2WD Practice 7:50am – 8:20am
4WD Practice 8:20am – 9:00am
Drivers Briefing 9:05am
First Heat on the line at 9:15am.

It will be 4 rounds of qualifying for all on Round by Round rules. We’re aiming for 3 finals for all.

Transponders
If u know your PT has changed since last time you put it on Central booking PLEASE let us know it takes time to change these on race day and we will not have time to spend ages updating everyone’s PT Numbers. I’ll be posting a Transponder list later today, please look at this and check your numbers and let me know of any changes.

Facilities and Track
The track is grass! Plenty of pitting space. If you bring a generator, please be courteous of others. We’ll be selling hot food (burgers, sausages, bacon), hot and cold drinks along with a selection of Chocolate bars and crisps!

As per BRCA rules, all LIPO batteries being charged MUST be inside a recognized LIPO sack, anyone found not using one will be asked to leave….(you have been warned!)
