Are the Plugs a tight fit in the motor? I have never had a problem with the plugs falling out. May have to use cable ties

How about a dab of glue or threadlock?

Just pinch the end of the plugs with some grips/pliers/moles a little, just to bend them a bit. This should make them a tight fit. Had this with one of my motors, and the above tip sorted it. :)

What about a bit of blutac?

If these connectors are loose, they won't carry the current very well either.. This will in turn generate heat, and probably end in  .
Glueing?, thread locking?, blue tacking isn't a solution. If the connectors are loose, I'd maybe try some new connectors on the ends of your wires as the ones you have may be over size (someone on here may be able to confirm the exact internal diameter of some which do fit snug for you to check), if not and you have only just brought it, I'd take it back.

Had the same fault. Took the connectors off and soldered the wires straight to the board.

Problem solved.

ah the bain of my life! Glad I'm not the only one...

I've had so many wires unsolder from those plugs I almost threw the motor out the window. turned out mine weren't sitting snug so the arc'ing was heating up and melting my solder. The motor wasn't even that hot either!

My 5.5 was beyond saving so I did what Hog did and soldered the plugs direct to the can.

My 7.5 I put a tiny bit of solder on the male inside the car. Now the plug is super snug and hasn't unsoldered since. I tried bending my plugs into an egg, but it didn't help all that much. also tried bending the male out to make it hold better.

I too have had this issue.

Now using HPI motors with a direct soldered joint. Problem solved.

Also considered(ing) Nosram Octa motors, but essentially any motor without the plug system!
