Lead for battery voltage tester - 2 cell

Right, hope this question is about to make sense...

I have recently bought a lipo voltage checker rather than having to plug the battery into the charger each time to check voltage

The battery checker doesn't come with any leads and has a standard balance port with the load of pins. I can use my balance board to plug into it and then the 2cell balance lead from the balance board to the lipo, but my question is this:-

Is there a single lead that I can plug into the multi pin port that can go straight to a lipo? I will only ever need to use it for 2cell batteries

Chris...if it's the same as mine, no leads are needed .....just plug the lipo balance plug, (on the lipo.!) direct to the unit...just making sure negative on lipo goes to negative terminal on unit.
They are very simple, and useful, items..

Caution - numpty alert.
You are right Alan. I had tried that on a battery that my charger wouldn't charge, giving a "voltage error". Why I didn't think to try it one one that I know is ok, before posting on here is beyond me!
Obviously that battery has a problem. Just tried it with a battery I know works and that was fine.
Have now modified the 2cell connector to have the 4mm bullets on a longer lead so it is easier to use. Job done.

And the duff lipo - that one is for the bin!

Ps - even when I kept it a secret, the unforeseen and unforcast rain managed to make it to Batley...

Chris.....hth..:)
Sometimes "voltage error" can be caused by a faulty plug, not the battery.
I have had this with a faulty balance lead plug... I use extension balance leads from the charger and they can be a bit fragile.
Could be worth checking. I've had that message a number of times and it has always been the leads. I have only had one Lipo failure and that swelled badly while stored..! I now, always storage discharge my Lipos.

Cheers Alan. I have tried the battery with a few different sets of leads and it won't register anything, while all my other batteries work with the leads.
At least I've got the battery tester working now and I'm not too concerned about the lipo - it was only a cheap hobbyking stick pack anyhow
