6 squared setup for petit race

I am looking for a ball park setup, just to make sure I have everything I'm going to need. I generally only race on a bumpy grass track here in ireland so my setup never really changes with regards to springs / pistons etc.

I ran my exact same normal out door set up last year there and it was good.

I tried the set up at the weekend on carpet indoors and found that the inside rear wheel was lifting through tight corners i.e. the outside shock collapsing. this was consistent through left and right turns. Any ideas?? Not sure whether I should pack the shocks more or do I possibly have excessive traction and therefore should I be looking at lengthening the wheelbase. Any help greatly appreciated.

I always run 30wt in ther rear indoors, with anything from 30 - 35 in the front for balance. Also try limiting the rear shocks so it doesn't jack up so much.

Lastly the Petit race was grippy (it was their old carpet) last year but certainly not the grippiest carpet Ive ever raced on so if you've tried it on new primafelt it may not be the same.

Cheers Dan, I will rebuild the shocks and try the weights you have suggested. Thanks.
