Where do new folks sit in the F ranking?

Simon

JohnM 06-03-2014 07:15 AM

New peeps are F5 Simon.

simonrhart 06-03-2014 03:45 PM

Thanks John. That means I'll be in a crappy heat that will be difficult to get a good number of laps? :(

JohnM 06-03-2014 06:47 PM

It shouldn't be too bad (hopefully), we're having refs for all of the races, so any bad driving will be stamped on quickly.

The start order will only be like that for the first meeting anyway, after that the order will go on championship positions.

A few people have won meetings from being in the lower heats so should not be a problem:thumbsup:

That's right, young Lewis Jones won the Herts 4wd regional from heat 1:thumbsup:

Smartalec 07-03-2014 04:04 PM

I was in heat 1 at the first round at Holbeach last year ...... It was emotional ;0)

simonrhart 08-03-2014 01:05 AM

That doesn't inspire any confidence! I know it will be emotional too, it always is in the crappy heats.

Simon

Checa 08-03-2014 07:32 AM

But Alec was Q2 and won the final JUST

Alec started the year in heat 1 Simon, ended it as champion;)

Round 1 heat one😉😜 look out for a yellow Durango.👍

jcb 10-03-2014 08:01 AM

We all have to start somewhere Simon.

As already said by Checa, Smartalec and JohnM, Racers have won meetings despite starting the day in a lower heat. With the addition of permanent referees this year I can't really see it being that much of a problem.

I also believe there is scope within the BRCA rules to re-seed racers to different heats that reflect their ability rather than F Grading.

Just make sure you jump out of the way when you get lapped;):D

Biscoe4 10-03-2014 05:51 PM

I don't think you're be lapping bud, but if you do, don't worry I will let you pass as i wouldn't like to slow you, or myself down.... I don't really know who you are, so I have to have a look at your body shell... Just so I know... Cheers bud😉👌👍✌

Steve I expect you to TQ by a lap at least :) I'm still debating whether to do 4wd this year, definitely doing 2wd again and would love to do SCT just for the laughs but I can't see there being many doing it as a lot of people sold up :(
