Nissan Leaf

Has anyone had any experience of the Nissan Leaf? Good or bad, just want to hear your experiences.

I've test driven one, although only briefly, it created a good impression and I'm going to get another one for a proper test drive this weekend probably.

Please note, I'm asking for people's experiences of the Nissan Leaf. This is NOT a discussion about electric vehicles vs internal combustion engined vehicles.

Cheers

Joe

I had one as a company car for about 2 months and couldn't wait to hand it back.
Very nice to drive and quick aswell but to get any sensible range out of it you had to drive it in eco mode. My drive to work is 21 miles a mixture of a and b roads and driven sensibly in the flow of traffic it would get me home aswell. I think the best I got on a full charge driving with slippers on was 87 miles before the display was warning me that I would soon be walking.

If you charge it with the box of tricks it comes with and using an extension lead make sure you fully un roll the lead or it will double up as a torch with added smoke ,speaking from experience there:eh?:
I certainly wouldn't buy one with my own money.
