10th on the Dirt at Coventry?

Hi all, Coventry Model Car Club is looking at running a 10th 'Dirtmasters' on a shortened version of the 1/8th scale track. This is slated to occur at the beginning of next season, when the dirt track has been freshly prepared and the 8ths haven't had a chance to chew the surface up!!

I have run my B4 round the track and it's a lot of fun, if I can get round anyone else will be able to!!

I would like to know if anyone is interested in such a race meeting and what people would want from it?

Sounds good if a control tyre is used

Count me in for that

I'd join the club if you did. Calibers would be a good control tyre if you needed one.

Sounds like a good laugh to me, I'd give it a go too

Get a roof put over it, then it would be all weather! :-). Seriously though, I would if I still did 10th buggy.

Sounds great! Would it be a series or just a big one off event?

graveltrap 27-08-2011 06:02 PM

Right now it would be a one off event, the calendar gets very full over the summer so putting a series on would be tough.

I've bought and tried a few different tyres so we are getting an idea of what works, tyre wear also doesn't seem to be an issue :)

Right now it would be just 2wd and 4wd, purely for a numbers reason. Trucks already get to play anyway ;)

Yep.

GRIFF55 27-08-2011 08:16 PM

How about tyres that have been nominated from previous euros? I'm sure people who have been before would be willing to part with/ sell them?
Count me in for a one off event FO SHO!
