Alternative Compatible Wheels (KF Hex)

As the title says I am looking to add some colour to my wheel option, however cannot see any specifically listed as compatible for the KF 12mm HEX's, as a fairly new guy to racing im still unsure of many things when it comes to purchasing alternatives so any help would be appreciated. (And I am sure it will be useful for anyone else who is looking for alternative wheels)

J Concepts Mono wheels, Proline 12mm Hex wheels and Yokomo 12mm Hex Wheels will fit

As said.. check the offset on these as it may be different! depending or not if you need to run to brca specs or not.. it could make the car wider than deemed legal. Or in fact narrower !!

He wants to add some colour so if you do go for the monos you could always use rit dye to do so, look on YouTube fora guide.

The offset on the Mono wheels and the Yokomo wheels is the same offset as the Schumacher wheels, some of our drivers use them and swap between Yokomo and Schumacher cars, they have always passed scrutineering at Regional meetings

I'd avoid the Avid rear wheels (if I didn't have a big box of them) because even if the offset is the same, they are wider at the axle and it doesn't leave enough thread to fully secure the nut.

As long as you use a serrated nut there is no problem with avid wheels... been runing them for almost 4 years exclusively and never had one loosen. They dont warp easily like thinner PL and AKA wheels also. thicker = stronger

My K1 aero = Losi 22-4 fronts and Avid B4/Losi etc rears
