Roger Wood Memorial Meeting 2nd June

2nd of June - Goshen Park

2wd, 4wd and Trucks

In memory of our late Race Controller Roger Wood, Bury will be hosting a special 'Race For Cake' (ie a trophy meeting where you can eat the trophy on the way home!)
It will be £10 per class, but all proceeds will go to Roger's chosen charity (The Dogs Trust)
We'll be running 2wd and 4wd and I've got a few spaces available for trucks if the demand is there.

Anyone interested please PM me or contact me on
simondavanzo@gmail.com
with your name, class, BRCA no and any PT no's.

Please note we do not support Purcy transponders. We do have 20 club handouts available however.

Thanks

Simon.

You do know I'm a diabetic so will you have a sugar free version?

Si Coe 14-04-2013 09:16 PM

Unless you can tell us which final you'll be in and what position you'll be coming thats going to be a bit hard. My idea was to have them iced with B-final 2nd place etc.

budfish 14-04-2013 09:29 PM

Now your discriminating me due to a medical condition:cry::cry::cry::cry:

Si Coe 14-04-2013 09:36 PM

We'll make some certificates as well so you can keep them after you've eaten the cake.

As for sugar free - well thats up to you. Like I said its a charity race, so we need sponsors. Wanna make Budsball's our first sponsor?

Chris Elworthy 15-04-2013 04:35 AM

I'd love to get my hands on Bud's balls for free!! Ha!

Chris

Thanks Tony.

Its really appreciated.

I'm hoping this will be a nice big meeting and maybe become an annual event.

danDanEFC 16-04-2013 07:43 PM

Are we running short course trucks?

Si Coe 16-04-2013 07:57 PM

I've called in 'Trucks' as we've got a few Shortcourse and maybe some Stadiums but yes - we will run trucks.
In fact I've put myself down for trucks running either the comically bad Mini Trophy (4wd but too narrow and doesn't steer) or the incredibly old RC10T, or worse an actual Short Course if someone is stupid enough to lend me one.
