Wild one ---- Li po

Will a shorty Li po fit in to a Wild one?

The battery itself should fit, problem is going to be where the connectors are going to end up.

The wild one was made for a stickpack and the connector wires exiting on the side of the battery compartment.

So It will need some modifications to connect it.

A shorty will fit inside the compartment. For a lipo made to fit look at the Core Rc 4000mah stick lipo. Even has the wires in the right place.

I can confirm, these are great batteries!
I use them in my Lunch Box, Wild Willy2, Clod Buster......., and all tamiya cars born to accept not Lipo Stick packs.
Perfect fit and very good performance.

You can make 2 non visible mods and any lipo stick pack with end exit wires will fit as the compartment is only about 2mm too short.
Fits mod is to remove the red nerf bar and trim it on the under side by a couple of mm using a hacksaw or dremmel. Them countersink by hand the two screw holes for the two screws that fix it on, replace the bar and fix it with two countersunk screws instead of the button head ones. That's it it will then take a regular stick pack.
