Quick update; (April '14) we're still racing every fortnight on Sunday nights, using our AMB20 timing system and having a blast!

Sorry we haven't made more updates on here; all juggling day jobs and running club.

April 6th
April 20th or 21st (Bank Holiday, undecided, comment on FB if you have a preference)

Hi all

Just an update, all going well for us at 1066 Racing and dates above are correct. Club has between 15 and 35 drivers at most meetings, plus we run regular practice sessions with open track for small numbers, great track time.

We're also a long way into discussion with our local council about a permanent site for an outdoor track which we'd race at during spring/summer/autumn while maintaining regular indoor meetings at our current venue, with more indoor action in winter.

As previously, most up to date info is on facebook page, search 1066 racing, and we still intend to do more updates on here...when we have time!

Hi all

We're working on our winter dates, hoping to run three all day meetings on our full size sports hall track, as well as continuing with our fortnightly club nights.

Also planning a fun one off endurance meeting for teams, Eden Park used to run one, was great fun and we'd like to resurrect it.

We have moved!

New venue is literally a 1 minute drive from the old one, but a world apart in terms of faciluties. Bigger, more modern, higher rostrum, bar, some food available on site. Come down and see us soon!

Our first race meeting at the new venue is 25/1/15; We will arrive early for this one to do a first time set up, 1500, free practice 1600-1800, racing 1800-2130 approx.

NORMAL RACE MEETINGS doors open 1700, free practice as soon as track is set up, (so help and you get more practice!) racing from approx 1800-2130.

Dates are fortnightly from the 25th January 2015 ALL YEAR so easy to work out. Facebook page as usual has all the updates and pictures you need to persuade you to come and race with us!
