Short Course Trucks

Hi, Do you guys run a good amount of SCT at your meetings?
Cheers

Hi there, based on what went on over the summer in the regionals most people are favouring Stadium Trucks, there are a few with SCT's.

I'm not sure what people will be running over the winter series

We normally do a heat of trucks but its usually mixed - both Stadium & SCTs, but it really depends on numbers. I doubt we'll get a feel for that until the start of the winter series which is this weekend

Thankyou for that, I thought they were the same? I meant SC10's etc.

Doh! I know, You mean the Truggy type trucks, are they becoming more popular now?

Stadium trucks are 2WD open wheeled whereas short course are enclosed wheels with a much bigger body that encompasses the whole chassis. The latter come as 2WD and 4WD but are generally a little harder to drive comparing like for like as they have a smaller foot print and more body roll with a heavy Lexan body...

Both types are catered for at EPR so please come down.

Great, Which do you think are more fun to race, or should I say easier?

Now thats an interesting question ;)

In my opinion - Short Course trucks are more fun to race, but Stadium Trucks (truggies as you call them) are easier to race.
