Drop Inn Racing (Craigavon) feedback

Looking for some feedback from people who race at, or who have raced at, the Drop Inn Youth Club, Craigavon, N.Ireland.

What's good about Drop Inn Racing? What's not so good about racing at the Drop Inn?

Anything good, pls post here in this thread. Anything not so good, pls send me PM! :D All feedback welcomed. Thanks.

I've always enjoyed racing at Drop Inn, bit too far for me. Like the friendly atmosphere and good close racing!

I always enjoy racing at Drop-Inn
The velcro-like astro makes the car handle like a scaletrix car - always fun.
Just have to convince a few of the Drop-Inn drivers to take part in the Nationals this year ;)

Good man Ed, nice to see a pro-active post on oOple

I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere amongst the drivers, everyone is able to have a laugh and the racing is always pretty good. There is also a good mix of young and *cough* not so young drivers

Ed.....like our own wee club at Clogher Valley Model Car Club, it's sometimes hard to gauge what the members actually think of what they get from racing each week.
I know that without a small band of members no Club can be run successfully night after night.
There will always be those who arrive after the track has been laid out and disappear when it has to be cleared......
Personally I've always found Drop Inn friendly, welcoming and sometimes not only sore on the spares but the shins as well.....:P
Since we have started to run the computer on automatic we have found that drivers can get themselves sorted out in time to get to the line and we can get cleared up most nights by 10.45 having run 4 Finals.
It's the young members who are the backbone of any club with the more mature members using their experience to keep driving it along week by week.
Keep up the hard work Ed......they might not tell you but they really appreciate your hard work.......:)
