You can't use bearings on the front wheels:

http://rvrccc.co.uk/index.php?p=1_9_Mardave-Class-Rules

unless it is just for the fun nights.

These rules need updating.

As for the comment on Bearing on the front, Kevin is the Mardave Rep for the Club and he always uses bearings and so does Dobs...

No fun for me over heatin

b4phil 14-01-2012 08:09 AM

Was fun for me laughing at Jon overheating . Very busy night again I missed the final as I was up for work at 6 so had to get to bed at a reasonable hour:thumbdown:. Thanks to Pete and all the others who make the night tick great night.

Rigaxe 14-01-2012 11:45 AM

I agree

Yes I must agree but the sheer numbers attending for the size of the track is far too large now 10 or 11 buggys in one heat is too many but fair play to pete and Eric for making the evening run smooth on there side brilliant but it difficult to do one lap without making contact with someone but I guess there's not much we can do about this really!!!! But I still had a wkd time first time out in nearly a full month bring on next Friday lol

savage stevo 14-01-2012 02:36 PM

Great night but think the results for the C final are wrong as it has me doing a 69sec lap:thumbdown:

It was my first race on Friday (2wd Buggy) and according to the website i came 1st in the E final. I did manage to smash my front bulkhead and front bulkhead plate in the final so i won't be available for next Friday but hopefully for the 27th the parts will have arrived!

Just ring radio racers they are based round corner from the meeting in leyland really good lads and they have never let me down for ae parts as they stock a large selection ie bulkhead and braces ect if you have snapped your bulkhead it sound like you where using a plastic front hinge pin brace you should defo get a factory team aluminium one no more broken bulkheads with that fitted:thumbsup: hope this helps radio racers are available from 10 o,clock mon, tue, thurs,Friday, sat on 01772 458383 you are asking for Shaun or Mitch good luck with your repairs mark
