Xb4 and xb2 hybrid

Hi all. I wanted to try to make my own hybrid using an xb2 front end and a xb4 rear end. Does anyone know if anyone has tried this at all ?.

The initials have been done and all the parts will be with Ken this weekend,it will be a 1 piece chassis like our XB2 chassis and built off the the 95mm centre drive shaft

The first pre production chassis is ready,we have made a change to the layout, now you have the option to use either the 95 or the 105mm centre drive shaft.

The car is being built and raced at the astro masters round at Telford tomorrow,i will get finished pictures and some feedback and let you know how things go.

Would a motor mount off an earlier xb4 fit on this. My donor xb4 is an early one with the saddle layout.

I believe the motor mount etc is the same across range so that should fit no problem, you may have to come up with your own top plate as if i remember right the older cars had an all in 1 top deck

Here are a few more updated pictures of the Cobra XB4/XB2 hybrid,we didn't get chance to finish the car sunday as we used up to much time working on the laydown Cobra XB2 which is now our low grip car.

I will add the final pictures of the hybrid once it's finished and hopefully it will get a run out at Broxtowe this coming weekend
