Original B Stamped RC10 TEAM Restore.

Hi all,

Thought I would share this. I have fully restored a original B stamped RC10 Team Car.....

All original parts fitted. I re-filed the nose and motor plate, then sent the chassis, nose and motor plate to be powder coated in RED !!

The powder coating was completed by MHeadling (Marko) on here and what a job. Its a fantastic finish. Pressed all my buttons of OCD...:woot:

Awesome work Marko.

I will post pictures of it now. Only thing left to complete is,

Rebuild all 4 shocks.
Wing to fit and sticker.
Body to paint.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Hi RLGfx,

Thank you for your comments.

Yes matey,

I did a Craig Drescher a while back. It will be that one. Metallic Blue, White, Red front. What Craig ran at Basildon Worlds 93 when he has Kinwald on his shoulders, its on the side of the box of the RC10 WORLDS CAR..:thumbsup:

That's one problem with the vintage stuff. Prices can be stupid silly. But then again, suppose that's the same with any hobby.

The pound has gone up very slightly though, so more against the dollar which can help, every pound counts......:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Hi...

How on earth do you get the parts soooooo clean, they look brighter than new ones!

Excellent build by the way....

Jim:thumbsup:

Thanks lads...........:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Jim,

All I do matey and it works well.

Boiling water, smudge neat green fairy liquid into the parts. I use a lot. Then put again a lot of fairy in the boiling water. Try not to make bubbles in the water, just make it the colour of fairy liquid your using.

Then place your parts in the water, leave over night. Then just take parts out the water the next day. Then more neat fairy on the parts then scrub with nail brush or tooth brush.

I then rinse in cold water, go again with fairy until your happy.........

WHAM BAM !!!! WHITE PARTS........:thumbsup::thumbsup:

daz75 09-02-2017 10:24 PM

bet your kids dont have building rockets with that amount of fairy liquid getting used
