Looking for a track

Hi
I have just moved to the Kings Lynn area and am looking for somewhere to run my cars.
I have both nitro and electric so would ideally be somewhere I could run both,
competitively or fun, either would be good

Track in King's Lynn area

Hi, I race at an outdoor track near King's Lynn its all grass we race most classes but most popular is 1/10th buggy both 4wd and 2wd we also race 1/8th nitro buggies. The atmosphere is very friendly so no need to feel intimated. I find everybody approachable and very helpful. The track is run by a fella who also runs a shop near by so if you do break something chances are he will have spares available. We race Saturday afternoons from 1pm onwards. Check out this on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7Jj48D00Nc. This was a heat from about a month ago. We also race indoors on carpet on a Monday night at the William Burton centre in West winch. We start around 7pm most popular classes are once again 1/10th buggies but touring cars sometimes run also. Hope this is helpful.

Other tracks to consider would include:

Norfolk Buggy Club - www.norfolkbuggyclub.moonfruit.com or check out our thread on here. We have a dirt and grass track, with the dirt track being suitable for electric and nitro of most scales. We generally race on the second and last sunday of every month

Boughton Raceway - they have a facebook page

Holbeach Model Car Club, isn't that far away either if your in Kings Lynn area.

Other tracks in the East of England area can be found on the regional web page www.brca-eoe.co.uk

I believe it's up on the saddlebow industrial estate in Kings Lynn and is run by Model Hobby.

Post code for the outdoor grass track is pe34 3as, arrive for 1pm, for a 1.30-2pm start. We run 1/10th and 1/8th, although anything will be accommodated where possible, be quick, the outdoors is scheduled to finish at the end of the month.

Indoors on a Monday night, starts at 6.30-7pm, at the William burt centre, pe33 0jy. 1/10th buggies and touring car (if there's enough interest) runs all year, except bank holidays.

Both are very relaxed, friendly and helpful, and as stated, there's usually spares and advice on hand from Adam at model hobby.
