Elliott Boots joins Team Durango
It's official now - Team Durango have signed up rising star Elliott Boots to race the 2011 season with their new DNX408 1/8th scale buggy.
Team Durango: One of the UK’s and Europe’s most naturally talented drivers joins Team Durango. Team Durango are delighted to have Elliott on board. As well as being a regular BRCA national winner and Euros junior champion, Elliott set the 6th fastest time in one of the earliest qualification rounds at the Pattaya worlds, without any pre-event practice; which really shows Elliott’s raw talent. The DNX408’s fast but secure handling will suit his aggressive style, but for the next couple of months it’s just a case of him getting some track time with the new car to be best prepared for the 2011 season. One of Elliott’s first outings for Team Durango will be with the DEX410 10th scale 4wd buggy, which should keep his thumbs defrosted while snow limits what’s possible with his 8th scale DNX408. |
I assume his first outing with the 410 will be at Petit?

Elliott raced the Durango 4WD buggy at the EPR and Stotfold nationals in 2010...

Showtime<O:p</O:p <O:p</O:p Yes Chris was helping Mugen out with some support and getting the shops in contact with the new way of ordering ,after the loss Models in Motion . This was just a short term thing just to get the ball rolling. Maybe this move has cut things a bit short. But I believe most if not all have been contacted, So now the shops will just deal with Mugen Germany Direct just like some other manufactures here in the uk .<O:p</O:p Many thanks karl jackson ps if any one knows of a shop that need to get Mugen parts. They can contact me on here and i will forward there details on |
Cheers Karl
