Marking and cutting straight lines?
What's the best way to mark out and cut straight lines on body shells?
And can you use masking tape, and then put liquid mask over it? Ta. Tim |
I'd use liquid mask on the inside of the shell, then put the masking tape on the outside, cut from the inside following the tape. I've never had any luck just using masking tape always end up with a paint bleed somewhere!!

New blade every time I start a new shell, keep blade handle as low as possible, longer handle better for straighter lines. |

Dual flex cutters seem to be the way to go to achieve parallel lines:
