Rob_B 10-07-2011 09:02 PM

I think he was yes

Rich D 10-07-2011 09:38 PM

Yeah he was. Great racing between the top three guys in each leg of the A. Very little between all three. Impressive skills.

Great weekend, Credit to all involved with track prep and the general running of the event..

Track was awesome, absolutely love the grass racing up here

Loads of banter as per normal and fair play to Joe C for being a good sport when taped up like a hog roast and then bathed in the pool !!!!

Also great effort by Mike raising money for breast cancer

Jimmy must have some cracking pics from this weekend, cant wait to see them...

Roll on Southport :D

Awesome weekend!
My best reults ever in both classes. G final running the HPI/HB 2wd proto, and F final running a 5/6year old HB D4!! :)

There was some great racing through the field and the second A final leg final lap was mind-blowing!!!!

Well done to all involved, and can we have a track like that next year please? :D

Jonesy 11-07-2011 07:35 PM

From a club point of view I'm delighted we've received so much great feedback from you guys!

The track was an interesting one as for the first year we never had an exact layout to work too! When Ash, Jeff and I first laid it it was 40 metres longer than the finished product! It goes to show that grass tracks can be fun

Thank you for bearing with us during the minor power cut delay on the Sunday

Finally I hope you guys enjoyed mine and Nathans D Final race yesterday, I thought it was more exciting than the A!

Shifta 11-07-2011 07:46 PM

I had an awesome weekend.. I like racing on astro tracks with loads of features but have to say I loved the old skool grass track at the weekend and it helped produce some excellent racing throughout the finals..
The second leg of A the has to be the most exciting race I've seen with all three drivers pulling out all the stops and really going for it right up to the line.. well almost

Thanks Oswestry :D

Anyone know where the overall championship points are being uploaded to? Because as far as I can see, the - www.onetenthoffroad.co.uk Hasn't got ANY 2011 scores, just last years.

Echoing the other comments, the grass track was excellent, and a welcome change to the national calendar. Great weekend, and like Jeff says, that 2nd leg A final is the best race I have ever seen. Oswestry

Freakypen 14-07-2011 07:49 PM

Thanks to Oz team for another great national-really enjoyed it.

I do have a problem that I'm gonna throw out there.
For the 2nd year in a row I've been unable to race my final ( B ) in 2wd-due to interference.
I use a Sanwa super exzess 2.4 and never had a glitch all day-or all winter and summer till now. Once the final leg of the A was over I tried the car again-and it was perfect. Exactly as the previous year!!!

I'd maybe understand a xtal prob causing this if we all still used 40 or 27mhz but I'm baffled by this. The car just managed to sit on the grid-then glitched around for a lap then took off by itself....

Do I have an Oz curse or has anyone else experienced problems on sanwa 2.4g?

jasonrcb 14-07-2011 07:54 PM

Strange you should say that about interference,at the oz regional this season i had radio problems all day with the same thing, but since that meeting the radio has not missed a beat,im as baffled as you are

Freakypen 14-07-2011 07:56 PM

It sucks..Were you on 2.4G,if so which radio system?

jasonrcb 14-07-2011 07:57 PM

Sorry yes 2.4,hitec radio and the spektrum module
