Tekin RSgen2 spec?

Guys

Looks like ill be doing a few indoor stock meets soon with one of my vintage Yokomos, but i need to loan a buddy my 511. I need a brushless stock set up though, and was looking at the Tekin Gen 2 spec, around 10.5 and some Turnigy Nano saddles, what do you all think, is the Tekin a decent choice, or do i buy a pro? Cant see the point of the pro if were only racing stock though, as i read it, it just allows timing adjustment? Sorry, I'm a bit lost on the brushless thing!

Hmm, but then there is a Hobbywing X9B combo, which also looks good? damn me for living in the past with vintage electronics lol.

The Tekin Gen 2 is a great speedo, especially if you were going to be running just stock, but you need to think ahead and the chances that you may run a hotter motor in the future ??? If there is a chance then the Pro would be a better bet as you wouldnt want to shell out on another speedo and get frustrated, both speedo's would be ideal for your current needs, but the Pro may be a safer bet if you were thinking of a hotter motor. :)

Thanks fellas, in the end i popped for the Hobbywing Xerun, seemed decent and the reviews seem sound. May get a Tekin later for another chassis, if i decide to put a brushless in a YZ10 that is lol.

Some advice guys, like a right numpty, just got done installing an XErun with a 10.5 in my TRF, and forgot to fit the capacitor......arrgghhh, guys do i need to take it all out and fit this thing, or try a run first and see if i get any glitching? I believe thats the sole purpose in BL systems, kinda new to them!

You defiantly need the capacitor fitting. It helps keep the ecs cool and aide punch I don't think its any thing to do with glitching.

Ahhh, ok thanks Paul, gotta remove it now, and man it was all neat lol.
