Hi folks..

Just to let you all know..

The GATES for the venue open at 7.30am and NOT before this time...

So please DO NOT arrive before this time, the Athletic Center have had alot of complaints about people arrivng early at the last series, people queing along the road, and we very nearly didnt get the option of using this great venue again..

If you do arrive early please go to McDonalds about a minute away which is just of the main road or please wait somewhere else.. we want to keep this venue alive.

Please do not park along the road by the venues gates..

You will have plenty of time to set up before practice starts... just make sure your charged the night before so your ready to go..

anybody know what time the finals might be scheduled to start / finish. Could do with getting away at a reasonable time to take my kids "trick or treating".

At least that's my excuse for getting in a low final !

Last year we were normally away for around 5.30 - 6ish, looks like there'll be a full house for the first round though!!

Really enjoyed the series last year & looking forward to this one :thumbsup:

Don't forget that the clocks go back to GMT at 2.00 am on Sunday.
Make sure that you don't arrive at 6.30 instead of 7.30.:(

Just to underline some of the points above:
As per the article on the main news page

1. The gate will open at 07:30, DO NOT arrive before this time. The centre has had complaints from residents about other users of the centre (footballers etc) arriving earlier and parking up on the road outside. The local council is aware of the issue, so we must be 100% compliant or for future events we will not be allowed onsite before 09:00. There is a retail park with McDonalds etc about 500m down the main road if you arrive ahead of schedule.

2. No food or drink in the hall, bottled water only. There will be an excellent food van onsite, but you must eat outside or in the reception area adjoining the main hall.

3. All cars to be in the main carpark, even for unloading. Only registered disabled vehicles are allowed down to the entrance parking spaces.

4. All drivers will be issued a ticket for practice. This will start at 8am sharp with a limited number of runs. Please be ready to go, as if everyone waits for the later slots, some will be dissapointed.

5. There will be a free draw with some great RC prizes on offer, including Tyres, Kits and more. Be lucky and enjoy your day :thumbsup:

Any updates on a reserve list????

A couple of reserves were contacted today, as some notifications of cancellation came in. If you were not phoned today, you're still a reserve, but obviously will have moved up the list a bit. Hope that helps.
