Ladies race in April...
 

We had an enquiry from a couple of the wives/partners the other week about arranging a 'Ladies Race' one evening at the club. We want to invite wives, girlfriends & sisters to a race. Those who've enquired have partners or son's running Mardave cars. Therefore we'll run a Ladies Mardave race that night. If there is enough interest in running, we'll have a couple of races during the evening for you to race each other.

So come on ladies, time to show us men how it's done! It's just a bit of fun. However some have shown an interest already for racing on a more permanent basis, so watch out drivers, you might have some competition soon. Please get in contact with the club if you are keen on entering. As this is just a bit of fun, entry for the inaugural Ladies Race will be FREE...

Rather than specify a single date, can you let us know which of the following dates that any of the ladies would be able to run, the most popular Friday will be the one we run...

Friday 1 April
Friday 8 April
Friday 15 April

There after we are back into a Championship, so it would be great to run a ladies night on one of the above...

Alison can make any of the 3 April dates. 1st would be good as it gives the them chance to do it again before the Championship starts!

We have 4 ladies who've shown an interest in racing their son/partner's Mardave cars, so if we can get a couple more then we have a race on :thumbsup:

The date of the ladies race will be Friday 8 April. Booking in will begin after this week’s meeting so you have just over a week to persuade the mums, daughters, wives or sisters to come along and race that night.

3 heats and a final for them all in their very own Ladies Mardave Class. Racing will be free for them on the night, so come on girls show us men that your just as good as the rest... :thumbsup:

Don't forget to pre-book ladies for this week's meeting. We've already got some booked in for Friday so more are welcome...

You get a full 3 heats and final to race your partner's or son's Mardave's cars. We had 5 of you practicing during last week's meeting so I'm sure we can get a few more to come along...

Congratulations to Alison Brasted who won the clubs first ever Ladies Race last night. We had 4 ladies racing in 3 heats and a final and they really enjoyed themselves so let's hope we can encourage more to join in for our next ladies race night, coming to Bedsrcmcc very soon... :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
