Dude, it's too small to view. Any chance you can make it bigger?

Cockerill 17-12-2013 02:09 PM

Petit RC have a great database of setups here:

I've added a wet Astro setup from RHR which was great, would recommend it for people looking for a starting point for people running on low grip tracks.

Cheers Tom, much appreciated. Are you spacing the steering bellcrank up any (and matching bump steer spacing on knuckle arm) on that damp rhr setup?
.... And, did you leave the rest shocks in front of the wishbone?

Cockerill 18-12-2013 08:09 PM

Yeh, I've got 4mm under the bell cranks and 4mm under the outer Ballstud.

Hi
What is the idea of the washers under CTR as I have not noticed much bump steer on a SV2 which think shares the same set up as the KF
CARB

mark christopher 18-12-2013 08:42 PM

I believe it smooths the steering

Worksop 5/1/14 KF Setup.

Track seemed slippier this round to me. 3 degrees rear camber helped a lot also 1 degree rear alloy blocks. Finished A7.

My KF setup from Caldicot RC Racers club night last night

This thing is awesome!

Ball diff really transformed the car, with the gear diff I was really struggling to get the power down but with the ball diff it was so smooth and easy to drive, it really felt like I could push it hard and the car just kept giving

Can someone please let me know what rate the kit springs are on the kf.
Cheers.

dobber 02-02-2014 07:38 PM

I think they are 4 front and 2.5 rear.

Thank you,
Gaz just a quick one to ask how well did you find your kf at southport indoor.
Ran mine there today on its first time out in near kit set-up with the rear alloy block upgrade,
Just felt as if i couldnt push to hard through the corners, having to back off a little.new cut staggers and blocks both in yellow, grip wasnt an issue but just felt unstable.
Cheers
Dave

KF Setup for Herts Electric circuit

Will be running the KF at Herts this weekend at the Mid South regional. Never run at this circuit before. Looks like it will be dry. Does anyone have a setup for this circuit? Is it Low/Med/High traction?

Cheers, John

wrighty 13-05-2014 06:21 AM

All 3 if damp in the morn it will be slippy then grip comes up as it drys but then grip fades as sand comes up

I would try it in stock setup first before changing anything too drastic, Tom C's setup is awesome... (The std chassis one)
