lrp conversion?

has anyone converted a s8bx?
what motor set up would give a nirto buggy a good run but still get a good run time?
what sort of run times do you get? with which motor and battery?
does the set up change much from a nitro?
and do they handle just aswell?
cheers

2600kv/Mamba Monster combo seems spot on

what sort of run times do you get?
2100kv motor a 5000mah wll give about 15-17min on a forgiving surface geared 14/46
with which motor and battery?
2600kv 13-15min same gearing
3300kv 11-12min same gearing

does the set up change much from a nitro?
Need a lot more pack

and do they handle just aswell?
Similar - the clutch in a nitro makes the car more forgiving, electric is a bit more 1/10th offroad like.

so when racing in a race with nitro cars is it possible to change battreys quick enough?
it would be good for ten min qualifiers but may be not so good in a race?
what sort of diff oils do you run?

An 8000mah pack will last getting on for half an hour but weighs a tonne..

My setup (amba) runs really cool so would do an hour if you wanted to swap packs.. depends how dexterous you are how quick you can change cells? just like a 10th....

Diffs currently:

5000 : 7000 : 2000
