1/10th & 1/8th Nitro...

Hi all,

I'm amazed to have found such a nice off-road track so close to me, however I just know there has to be a catch...

Are members allowed to run 1/10th Nitro Truggies or 1/8th Nitro Buggies on practice days?

I'd like to find out before I rush off and buy a new HPI..

Please let me know!

Many thanks,

Tris

Hi

Wouldn't rush out if I were you as we are electric only.

Get yourself to Apex Models in Crowthorne and pick up a 1/10 Electric Buggy or Short Course Truck.

Racing is Thursday nights through the winter months.

Pop along and say hello.....

Thanks for your prompt reply! :)

I thought that may be the case - It seems all tracks are being forced to ditch nitro these days. Issues with noise I suppose!

I'll certainly take a closer look at the electric 1/10th's, although a huge part of the fun for me was the noise and smell of burning fuel while trying to steer it in a straight line, lol!

Would any of the following models be acceptable?

I'll also see what the guys at Apex recommend, as if i can do it on a tight budget i'll still purchase my nitro truggie anyway!

Cheers,

Tris

Tris think long and hard about a nitro Tuggy as not many places run truggies anymore take Slough the biggest 1/8th Nitro track in the South have only run buggies for the last year plus!

short course

Well, Looks like SHRCCC is getting the SC bug.
we have 4 regulars and sometimes another one or 2 showing.
I think i have done a deal with a shrccc man on my spare Hong Nor, so thats gona be another regular.

SO, get ya SC bought and built, lets get trucking!

We want to run short course heats every week and also when were outdoors in the summer, doing maybe 2 heats...... Lets get some fun and racing into the scene with more Short course action!!!!!

Whos up for some inter club action with short course teams?
