Ellis is looking good for TQ with two round wins .

So far 6 brits in the top 10 (and no frenchie lol), but craggy's bound to recover from his bad luck in round one.

That shocks are Hupo and Neil Cragg running? Is it Yokomo or Tamiya.

stegger 12-08-2009 09:05 AM

More Manolis Madness please Jimmy- has he walked there? is he infact racing a animal rather than a RC car? Is he pitting on his life belongings rather than a chair?

Anyhow - Go Manolis you crazy diamond!

c0sie 12-08-2009 09:46 AM

Who is this Manolis that you all speak of??
...
..
.

Answer-RC-Pete 12-08-2009 09:52 AM

Manolis is a legend -
He is an internationaly respected designer of radical chassis designs.. (ish!)
He has a habit of turning up at a meeting without vital components such as a finished car. If I recall at Neo 09 he managed to complete 1 lap all weekend after somehow arriving in the wrong Shropshire or something like...
and by all accounts thats pretty typical for the mad greek man who has snakes for hair..
He is cool though!

Axel.k 12-08-2009 09:53 AM

This time he had no charger......

c0sie 12-08-2009 09:54 AM

Any pics? Sounds like a legend in the making!

Fabs 12-08-2009 09:57 AM

Some say he spends all his money in his hair... And if he could make a car out of his offcuts - HE WOULD.

All we know is, he's called MANOLIS

Seen this bloke in one of the UK mags, building his car from scratch in pits before taking it out on track.

:woot: Cuckoo Cuckoo :woot:
