Hi everyone,

Tomorrow afternoon we will be removing the remaining equipment from the store room at West Bridgford School and moving it to our new home at Cotgrave Leisure Centre. We have already removed the carpets, track markers and rostrum from the school, but a good amount of equipment remains to be removed.

We have a van available and we need some help to transfer the equipment from the store room into the van between around 1-2pm tomorrow afternoon. "Many hands make light work" as they say, and with a little help this will be done within an hour. If you can offer a pair of hands, then please let me know wbmcc.prebooking@gmail.com and we will meet you at the school at about 1pm.

We will then be unloading and collecting the rest of the equipment from Bingham at about 3-4pm before heading over to unload at Cotgrave between about 4.30pm-6.00pm. If you can help in either Bingham or Cotgrave, please could you also let me know.

It may not be the most exciting way to spend a Saturday afternoon, but it could be the excuse you're looking for to get out of the Christmas present shopping...!

So we're into 2016 and looking forward to re-starting WBMCC club night racing again this coming Friday!

To remind you, we will now be racing at Cotgrave Leisure Centre and the timing of the meeting will be as follows:

• Doors open @ 5pm with track set-up from 5.30pm.
• First heat @ 6.30pm sharp.
• Racing will finish by 9.00pm to allow time to get the track packed away by 9.45pm.

Race classes will remain unchanged - full class rules can be found on the club website at wbmcc.co.uk.

To ensure 4 rounds of racing, we will allow 5 heats with a maximum of 10 cars per heat, as follows:

- 2 heats of Off Road
- 2 heats of Clubman
- 1 heat of Flat Pan.

There will be a 2 minute turnaround between each heat for the drivers to change over and for the marshals to be in position. To maintain timing, we will not be able to hold the meeting if you are not ready for your race.
PRE-BOOKING
There will be limited time to book in on the night. Therefore I strongly suggest that you pre-book to secure your place and to ensure that you are booked in before racing starts. Pre-booking for this Friday will open from 9.00am tomorrow morning and close at 9.00pm on Thursday evening. By pre-booking you are signalling your clear intention to attend the race meeting.

BRCA MEMBERSHIP
Finally - please ensure that you bring proof of valid 2016 BRCA membership with you, ideally in the form of your 2016 BRCA licence or as an absolute minimum the email confirmation that you have paid for your 2016 membership.

Thanks for the positive feedback we've received - pre-booking for next Friday will open at 9am tomorrow morning.

Remember: We are capping entries to 5 heats, so pre-book to ensure you get a place!

Pre-booking is via the entry form on wbmcc.co.uk only (not Oople, Facebook, texts etc etc).
