DETC410

I am showing interest in the car, but hear things about it. Does it really suffer from easy breakages ?
Anyone having any experiences of the car to share please.

I'm running one indoors on carpet , it seems pretty tough to me , the only thing i've broken is a rear wishbone ,but that was after a heavy shunt sideways into the barrier , very nice car , i love it ..:wub

Thank you for reply.
Do you use the standard kit servo mount, or upgraded to the aluminium addition ?

Still got the kit plastic mount , do notice a bit of flex and would like to fit the alloy mounts , but funds don't allow yet!! ..

I am running a DETC410 in the 17.5 blinky class and the car is as durable as anything else I've driven. My last sedan was the Mi5 and I find the Durango slightly more durable.

Perfect, I also run in 17.5 blinky, does anyone know apart from Durango. Which brand of 64dp spur gears fit the car. I need 86 or lower.

Cheers

Hi Nic8,

Panaracer and SPEC-R spur gears are a direct fit too.

Cheers.

Hello,

Just to hop on your thread briefly, i'm just about to jump back into racing and things have changed since I used to race, the last car I raced was my old Xray T1.

Looking at buying a new chassis first and i've seen Schumacher Mi1V2 in my
price range and a HoBao H4e, now all of a sudden I read your post about this reduced price DETC410 (£180 chassis kit) and i'm thinking is this just worth paying the extra for, is it a lot more car for the money?

Thanks for any help you might be able to give

zienna 18-12-2014 02:29 PM

If you go on MB Models they are doing them for £179.99 . In all the cars ive had the DETC 410 has the best spec for your money you cant go wrong . Mb models has loads of spares and its one of those cars that come with everthing you need to race there is only a hand full of hopup parts that are not expensive and not always needed. Hope that helps.

roobeats 18-12-2014 06:03 PM

Hi

Yes thats the price I have seen, seems like a good deal, is this a current model as you are mentioning spare parts?

Do you know how it compares to the other two models I listed?

Trying to get back into this all seems far more confusing then I remember haha,

Thanks for the help

This car is a level above the Mi1 and you get more for your money over H4e.
