Pricey X5 at batley!
 

Well done to John price with his 2nd in the D final at Batley National yesterday with the X5 review car, was exciting watching john get round that last lap with a very obviously dumping car and craig harris gaining on him. That must be at least 2 finals higher than you have ever qualified john ??
I think it was a 1-2-3 for the X-5 in that final also.

I was first to congratulate John, while on the rostrum, he must be very pleased with his result. He looked rather stressed when it ended!

Again I'll say it here, well done John, the X-5 seems to be going very well indeed for you! Your driving was faultless right through the final, I had your car in the corner of my eye from start to finish as I knew I couldn't make a mistake.

X-5 was 1, 2 and 3 in that final.

We were all screaming for john but I'm not sure it was loud enough :p

Not sure it was actually dumping, i think it may just have been the brand new never run or cycled cells. They totally lost all punch after about 4 mins, but never actually went flat.

X5 was really good, so easy to drive steadily and do a good time with, yet in round 4 when i made an error, I actually pushed the car hard for a few laps and it was able to run in the high 24's. The car made me look good:)

So consistent! its not like you john, I am getting left behind :(

You must be gutted, it could still have been yours now Jimmy! You'll just have to get another X-5 for yourself then? :bom:

Oh Jimmy, BTW, I need a set of oOple stickers next time i see you. I have none atall on my X-6 shell, the last one went on my battery bra.
